He agreed with <br />Commissioner Wright that this would not preclude the churches fro going to the City for <br />permission to hang a sign for a special event. He could support the endment as it is <br />written with the stipulation they abide by the wording that is present! in Section E of the <br />Code. <br /> <br />Further discussion ensued as to whether the wording should be chan ed. Mr. Beougher <br />noted wording could state: "This shall not apply to events unrelated a religious service." <br /> <br />Commissioner McGuirk asked whether this would be monitored by t e Code Enforcement <br />officer. Mr. Swift affirmed this. <br /> <br />Chairman Hovingh initiated some discussion regarding his concern a out the posting of <br />political signs on private property.
