La2Una Oaks <br />~ Application for a one-year extension of the Tentative Tract Map 266 approval for the <br />property located generally at the northeast comer of Bernal Ave e and Foothill Road. <br />Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Lo Density Residential <br />District. <br /> <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of Case entative Tract Map <br />6266 subject to the conditions of the staff report. <br /> <br />Commissioner Mahem stated she has no problem with the project, b t she does have a <br />problem with the fact that the trees have been removed from the site d grading has taken <br />place. She wondered what could be done to avoid such situations in e future. Mr. Swift <br />replied that the City used to be very accommodating with respect to rading permits and, <br />unfortunately, staff gave a grading permit for this project before appr val of the Final Map, <br />He said this is no longer done by the City until the bonds are in hand to make sure the <br />project will actually take place. He noted that sometimes even that d not provide <br />protection, and cited Golden Eagle Farms.
