She stated that the ch . ned area is rather dark
and that police have said people do drugs in that area. She did not want to single out the
Popi Lounge because there are other people who enter the parking ot besides those patrons.
She said she has lived there since 1973 and felt many concessions y the neighbors were
made in regard to La Petite Academy and the shopping center. Sh said she also walks
through the parking area after 7:30 p.m. and the chain is never loc ed or hooked, but just
draped over. She felt the problem was not e people in cars, but
kids who are smoking drugs. She did not think the patrons of Pop Lounge even park back
in the restricted area, as there is plenty of parking by the lounger i self. She noted that all
the lots are well-lit and there should be no danger if the chain is u locked until 9 p.m. She
also noted that the kids take the chain down. She felt it was quite distance from the No-
Sweat Salon to the other parking lot. She further noted she has s nt over $1,200 in
trimming trees and shrubs in that area, and said Portfolio Property would not tell people they
have no money for that.

In response to Commissioner Horan's question, Ms. David said th chain is not locked, but
hooked.
