<br />r Glenn Frye, 4641 Augustine Street #A, stated that he has lived adj <br />property for four years and his landlord made the complaint. He d his children likes <br />Wilbur, the yard is always kept clean, there is no smell, and he sup rts Ms. Juarez being <br />able to keep Wilbur. <br /> <br />Gary Schwagerle, 189 W. Angela, supported his neighbor having a <br /> <br /> <br />Kevin Bracken, 7601 Desertwood Lane, advised that when he visits his parents he brings his <br />pot-belly pig with him. He said the pig stays in the house. He if this is a problem. <br />Mr. Swift said as long as the pig stays in the house it is in compl" ce with the Code. <br /> <br />Sherry Hoff, 265 Kottinger Drive, stated that she doesn't know Ms. Juarez, but her boys <br />have told her what a great pig Wilbur is. Ms. Hoff referenced info tion from the Disease <br />Control Section, Infectious Disease Board in Sacramento, comparin dogs, cats, and pot- <br />belly pigs in a health comparison analysis, which indicated that pot- elly pigs pose the least <br />threat to human health. Mr. Swift <br />advised that no photos were taken because the issue before the Com ission is whether stafP s <br />interpretation of the Code is accurate and if the Commission wishes to initiate a Code <br />change. <br /> <br /> <br />Chairman Mahern reminded the Commission that in the past she h <br />person who complained about the unfmished structure. She stated t she had received <br />photos of the yard and the pig. She advised that she is concerned a out whether it is <br />appropriate to keep this animal in a residential neighborhood. <br /> <br />Commissioner Horan stated that he felt a pot-belly pig is like a dog that is kept in and out of <br />the house.
