Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Office District. Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of C PUD-89-14-lD, subject to the conditions of the staff report. THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED. Dr. Craig Sjoberg, 4713 First Street, Pleasanton, represented the application and called attention to a letter passed out tonight. He went into great detail stating that he has enjoyed the process and learning experience he has been through in attem ting to build a structure. He presented a small model of the structure to the Commission d further described the layout to them. He noted that the tree report shows the building can be safely placed seven ft. from the dripline. In actuality, he intends to put it 10ft. awa for extra protection. He disagreed with the staff report' s assertion that the tree would be aged if the structure is not moved further than 10 ft. away from the dripline.
