<br />Dave Gonsalves, 2215 Martin Avenue, stated that he has walnut tr s in his lawn and they <br />are doing fine. He said they just need proper care to prevent di ses that do spread to other <br />walnut trees. He would object if all the walnut trees were remov . He noted that the <br />developer has worked well with the neighbors and is in support of the project. He felt that <br />16,000 to 20,000 sq. ft. yards would be acceptable; he would fav r 28 ft. streets, rolled <br />curbs, and no sidewalks. He commented that he is also wishing t develop part of his <br />property and has been waiting a number of years to be annexed in 0 the City. He would like <br />to know where the utilities would go and what they have to do to e able to develop the front <br />of his property. He hoped the Commission would not try to contr 1 the size of the houses <br />and felt that even 5,000 sq. ft. houses on this type of acreage wo d be acceptable, that some <br />people want four to five car garages which can be also utilized as orkshops. <br /> <br />Herb Singleton, 2207 Martin Avenue, agreed with a comment tha the gravel on Trenery <br />Drive is not necessary. He questioned the use of 25 percent FAR and felt that the size of the <br />lots should accommodate houses that could have five car garages.
