ORDINANCE N0. 205 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION IN THE TOWN OF PLEASANTON <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO THE ELECTORS OF SAID TOWN THE <br />PROPOSITION OF INCURRING A BONDED INDEBTEDNESS OF SAID TOWN FOR <br />THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF THE FOLLOWING <br />MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT, TO WIT: A SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT; <br />DECLARING THE ESTIMATED COST 0F SAID MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT, THE <br />AMOUNT OF ~ PRINCIPAL OF SAID INDEBTEDNESS TO BE INCURRED <br />THEREFOR, AND TEE MAXIMUM RATE OF INTEREST TO BE PAID THEREON; <br />MAKING PROVISION FOR THE LEVY AND COT.I,F. CTION 0F TAXES; FIXING <br /> <br />THE DATE OF SAID ELECTION, TEE MANNER OF HOLDING THE SAME, <br />ESTABLISHING ELECTION PRECINCTS AND P0v.T.ING PLACES FOR SAID <br />Ev.~.CTION AND APPOINTING BOARDS 0F ELECTION THEREFOR, AND PRO- <br />VIDING FOR NOTICE THEREOF. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Pleasanton, <br />by resolution duly passed and adopted at a meeting of said City <br />Council duly and regularly held, by affirmative vote of more <br />than two-thirds of all of its members, did determine that the <br />public interest and necessity demand the acquisition, construc- <br />tion and completion of the municipal improvement hereinafter <br />mentioned, and did further determine the cost of said proposed <br />municipal improvement will be too great to be paid out of the <br />ordinary annual income and revenue of said municipality, which <br />resolution was duly entered on the minutes of said meeting of <br />said City Council, and is now on file and of record in the <br />Clerk's office of said Town, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN 0F Px.~.ASANTON DOES ORDAIN <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
