ORDIYA CE NO. ji . AN, nUTnG iIZING AND CONSENTING TO THE TEANSFER OF A PORTION OF PLZAQ TON AVENUE IN THE TOWN OF PLEASANTON, TC T: K;, COLN,= OF ALKEDA .AS A CO 7TY HIGHWAY. The City Council of the Town of Pleasanton does ordain as follows : SECTION 1: The City Council of the Town of Pleasanton does hercbj consent to the portion of Pleasanton Avenue in the Town of Pleasanton hereinafter particularly described, a Cot;i.rity highway and a part of the system of highways of the County of Alameda, State of California, with respect to its construction, vaintenance anj repair, as provided in Resolution No. 47759 of The Board of Supervisors of Alameda County, California. and the City Council of the 'Town of Pleasanton does hereby authorize the transfer and con- veyance of the interest of the Town of Pleasanton in said portion of Pleasanton Avenue, to the County of Alameda. That portion of Pleasanton Avenue in the Town of Pleasanton .from the intersection thereof with the North- easterly line of Hose Avenue. Southwesterly to the Souther- ly loyn, ary line of the Town of Pleasanton. SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be published once in 'The Pleasanton Tires", a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the Town of Pleasanton. SECTION 1: This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an urgency measure and shall take effect i mpediately upon passage and publication. The facts constituting such said urgency are as fol- lows: ol- lows: said portion of Pleasanton Avenue is in need of immediate re- pair for the in-LT,,ediate preservation of the public safety and the County of Alameda has appropriated funds and taken legal steps to cause its immediate repair as part of the county highway system. ---:000:--- INTRODUCED at an adjourned regular meeting of the Board of the City Council of the Town of Pleasanton held on the 17th day of Karch., 1947.
