III. Revise plans to contain a grading and drainage plan per condition number <br /> 16(d)(I). <br /> <br /> IV. The main structure shall be constructed to allow for future installation of a <br /> Photo Voltaic (PV) system. The project/building developer may either <br /> comply with the following requirements for making all houses on the Lot <br /> photovoltaic ready. Making the home photovoltaic ready shall require the <br /> following measures to be implemented with the construction of the structures <br /> covered: <br /> 1) Electrical conduit and cable shall be installed from the roof/attic area to <br /> the buildings' main electrical panels. <br /> <br /> 2) Roof trusses shall be engineered to handle an addition load of five (5) <br /> pounds per square foot beyond that of the anticipated load for the <br /> roofing material. <br /> <br /> 3) An area shall be provided near the electrical panel for the "inverter" <br /> required to convert the direct current output from the photovoltaic <br /> panels to alternating current. <br /> <br /> 4) A bi-directional electrical meter shall be installed. <br /> <br /> These measures shall be shown on the building permit plan set submitted to <br /> the Planning Director for review and approval before issuance of the first <br /> building permit.
