~_SECTIO N 1~: a violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall also constitute grounds for the revocation of any permit and license granted to operate and maintain an auto camp and resort or an auto and trailer camp, and any such permit and license so granted may be revoked for cause by the Council of the Town of Pleasanton at any regular, adjourned regular, or special meeting of the Council of the Town of Pleasanton. Before revoking any such per- mit and license, however, notice shall be given to the holder of any such permit and license of the time and place when the Council of the Town of Pleasanton will revoke said permit and license and the holder of said permit and license shall have the opportunity of being heard and presenting evidence to show cause why his permit and license should not be revoked. After any such hearing the Council of the Town of Pleasanton may, if it finds that there are grounds for the revocation of said permit and license, revoke said permit and license and the holder thereof shall not thereafter be entitled to maintain and oper- ate an auto camp and resort or an auto and trailer camp in the Town of Pleasanton. ~SECTION 15: This ordinance is required for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety and shall take effect im- mediately. The ~llowing is the statement of facts constituting such urgency. The United States Navy has commenced the establishment and erection of a large Naval Recuperation and Replacement Center near the Town of Pleasanton. The ~onstruction of said camp has brought to the Town of Pleasanton and to the vicinity 'of the Town of pleasanton, an unusually large number of people with automobile trailers, many of which are locating in the Te~n of pleasanton, and it is necessary for the preservation of the public health and safety of the inhabitants of the Town of Pleasanton that auto camps and resorts and auto and trailer camps be regulated immediately. SECTION 16: If any section, sub-section, sentence, clause or phrase b'f' ~his ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitu- tional such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The Town Council hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance irrespective of the fact that any one or-more sections, sub-sections, sentences, clauses or phrases be de- clared unconst itut ional. SECTION 17: This ordinance shall be published once in ~The Pleasanton'Times" and shall take effect immediately upon its final passage and adoption.
