ORDINANCE N0. 189 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANC~ REGULATING AUTO CO~KP~ AND RESOHT~ AND <br /> aUTO AND TRAILER CA~XPS IN THE TO'jN OF PLsAS~NTON. <br /> <br /> The Council of the Town of pleasanton do ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION l: Definitions. Sections 18100, 18101, 18lOB, <br />18105, 181~'l'~, 18108, 18107 and 18108 of the Health and Safety <br />Code of the State of California are hereby for all purposes adopted <br />and made a part of this ordinance, and the provisions of this ordinance <br />using the words and phrases defined in said sections of the Health emd <br />Safety Code of the State of California shall be construed as set out <br />in said sections of said Health and Safety Code unless it shall be <br />apparent from the context of the provisions of this ordinance that a <br />different meaning is intended. <br /> <br /> SECTION B: Necessity for Permit and License. After the pas- <br />sage of th~S ordinance" i~ shall be unlawful for any person to establish <br />or maintain or to permit to be este~blished or maintained upon any prop- <br />erty owned or controlled by him, sn auto court and resort or an auto <br />and trailer camp in the Town of Pleasanton unless such person shall <br />first obtain and maintain a valid permit and license therefor as here- <br />inafter provided. The application for such permit and license shall <br />be accompanied by plans or a diagram of the proposed auto court and re- <br />sort or auto and trailer camp showing the location of all buildings, <br />driveways, toilet facilities, showers, laundry facilities, slop sinks, <br />hydrants and other improvements. The application for such permit and <br />license shall be submitted to the Clerk of the Town of pleasanton <br />and the Clerk of the Town of Pleasanton shall refer said application <br />to the Building Inspector, Fire Chief and Health Officer of the Town <br />of Pleasanton who shall within five days make a report to the Coun- <br />cil of the Town of Pleasanton upon said application, certifying <br />whether or not the plans or diagram for such proposed auto court and <br />resort or auto and trailer camp comply with the provisions of this <br />and other ordinances of the Town of pleasanton. <br /> <br /> ~_ny application for such a permit and license shall be ac- <br />companied by a permit and license fee as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) auto and Trailer Camps: Each holder of a permit and <br />license for a~auto and trail~'r camp shall pay a quarter-annUal per- <br />mit and license fee of $9.00 where said permit and license authorizes <br />an auto and trailer camp to contain not more than three camp sites, <br />and an additional $5.00 for each camp site in excess of three which <br />is authorize~ by said permit and license, and a renewal fee in the <br />same amount shall be paid quarter-annually during the existence of <br />such permit and license. <br /> <br /> (b) auto Courts and Resorts: Each holder of a permit and <br />license for an auto coU~"t and resor't" 'shall pay an annual permit and <br />license fee of $1Z.O0 where said permit and license authorize.~ an <br />auto court and resort to contain not more than twelve apartments, <br />and an additional $1.00 for each apartment in excess of twelve which <br />is authorized by said permit and license, and a renewal fee in the <br />same amount shall be paid annually during the existence of such per- <br />mit and license. <br /> <br /> The permits and licenses issued hereunder shall date from <br />the first day of the calendar month in which they are issued, and <br />the renewal fees for such permits and licenses shall be payable in <br /> <br /> <br />
