The applicant shall ensure that fire prot ction facilities, including all surface roads, fire hydrants, and a water supply capable of furnishing the required fi e flow shall be installed and serviceable prior to and d ring the time of construction. When alternate methods of protection are as approved by the Fire Chief, this requireme t may be waived or modified. Proposed alternative methods f fire protection shall be submitted, in writing, to the Fi e Chief. All roads on the site are designated as fir apparatus access roads by the Fire Chief and must be mainta'ned in accordance with section 2.01 of the Uniform Fire Code and be accessible at all times from the start of constructio until the project is completed. Curbs must be painted red or "No Parking" signs provided as required by the vehicle code. The developer shall submit a refundable ca h bond for hazard and erosion control prior to issuance of an Engineering or Building Department permit. The amount of this bond will be determined by the City Engineer. The developer shall grant an easement to tte city over those parcels needed for public service easements (P. S. E.) and which are approved by the City Engineer or other asements which may be designated by the City Engineer.
