Said Public Proclamation 1.lie. 12, in addition to <br />amending Public Proclamation No. l0 as hereinabove set forth, contains <br />the following paragraphs: <br /> <br /> "B. This proclamation shall become effective Octo- <br /> ber 25, 1942, except those provisions of Subsection 2 (b) <br /> (1) hereof, concernin~:~ street and highway lights, which <br /> shaEl become effective ~ovember 12 1942 <br /> , · <br /> <br /> "C. The recitals set forth in the first three <br /> paragraphs of said Public Proclsm~ation i~lo. l0 are hereby <br /> reaffin~ied. Except as hereinbefore expressly a'~ended, all <br /> the provisions and detenuinations expressed in said pub- <br /> lic Proclar~ation ?~o. 10 shall remain in full force and ef- <br /> fect." <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. The Town of Pleasanton hereby recognizes the <br />civil and ~il'i't'ary necessity for the concurrent enforcement of the <br />provisions of ~blic Procitation No. 10, as ~aended as aforesaid, by <br />the Town of Pleasanton and the Federal Gover~ent. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4. The Town of Pleasanton ~. within the Zone of <br />Restricted~i:~Ehting, designated and established by Section 2 of said <br />~blic Procl&mation I~o. 10 as amended as aforesaid. <br /> <br /> SECTION 5. VJhoever on or after the date of the final pas- <br />sage and adoption of this ordinance, shall comit any act in the <br />Tov~n of Pleasanton contrary to the provisions of either Section 2 or <br />Section ~5 of ~blic Proclamation No. 10 as amended as afo~said, <br />which an~ended proclamation is hereinabove set forth in full, shall <br />be ~uilty of a violation of this ordinance which violation shall con- <br />stitute a ~isdexaeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable <br />bp- a fine ~f not to exceed ~L~300.00 or by imprisom~ent for not to ex- <br />ceed th~'ee months, or by both such fine ~nd imprisom~ent. <br /> <br /> o~TION 6 This o~inance is recuired for the i~m~edi~te <br />preservation of t~e public peace, health and safety and shall take <br />effect i~ediately.
