WHEREAS the Council of the Town of Pleasanton deems that <br />equity requires the conveyance to said County of Alameda, a body <br />corporate and politic and a political subdivision of the State of <br />California, of the portion of Rose Avenue hereby ordered closed up <br />and abandoned, and said County of Alameda, a body corporate and <br />politic, and a political subdivision of the State of California, <br />is therefore, upon the taking effect of this ordinance, entitled to <br />a deed from the Town of Pleasanton to the portion of Rose Avenue <br />hereby ordered closed up and abandoned, <br /> <br /> NOW TEEFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the Town of <br />Pleasanton, that all that portion hereinabove described, of Rose <br />Avenue, is hereby ordered closed up and abandoned and that upon the <br />taking effect of this ordinance, the ~iayor of the Town of Pleasanton <br />be and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute, acknowledge <br />and deliver in the name of and on behalf of the Town of Pleasanton, <br />a deed conveying to said County of Alameda, a body corporate and <br />politic, and a political subdivision of the State of California, <br />all of the right, title and interest in and to the portion of Rose <br />Avenue hereby ordered closed up and abandoned, which said Town of <br />Pleasanton may have acquired by reason of said portion of Rose Avenue <br />having been dedicated and used as a public street. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: This ordinance is hereby ordered to be printed in <br />"The Pleasanton Times," a newspaper of general circulation, printed <br />and published in the Town of Pleasanton, which is hereby designated <br />for that purpose. <br /> <br /> Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of the Town <br /> <br />of Pleasanton held on the ~.~3~.. day of February, ~941. <br /> <br /> - 3 - <br /> <br /> <br />
