UNNAMED COMMUNITY MEMBER · We've had to fight for fields for 13 years, As soon as we can get more lighted turf fields the better. Now, we have soccer teams and baseball teams preparing for championships in the same place. It can be very dangerous to have baseballs flying through a game of soccer. · How many lighted fields will the Alternative 2 plan have? GERRIE LONG · The "Community Park" should be on an arch at the front of the whole site not just the sports park. · Everyone should be able to find a place to do what they want. · Look at the bigger picture. · We only get to do this once. · Remember the jewel-like setting that we started with, DOUG JEEFRIES · I'm excited about the sports park and the playground because small kids can play while big brother plays sports. I notice it's near a parking lot, it should be more centrally located or fenced in. UNNAMED RESIDENT · I'm concerned about the Arts Center being close to freeway noise. · How much planning or consideration has gone into putting the Center downtown? If it's Downtown there's bound to be more people going shopping and having dinner. GREG · Put Arts Center north near Bemal Avenue. It should be visible, easy to find and accessible. STEVE · Give us as many fields as possible. Pony baseball doesn't have fields and has had to practice on asphalt because no space. "D" is the best alternative for giving us more fields. They all need to be lighted. TERRY BEN · We need lighted tennis courts. · Put the Arts Center in the park area but close to Downtown. Look at the new center in Davis.
