<br />PLANNXNG COMMXSSrON OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-92-77 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE STONERIDGE <br />REGIONAL SHOPPING CENTER DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Stoneridge Regional Shopping Center has applied for a <br />Development Agreement which: (1) would allow presently <br />permitted uses for the 15-year term of the Agreement; (2) <br />would allow new development totalling an additional <br />356,000 sq. ft. of leasable floor area in additional <br />department stores, specialty stores, and/or additional <br />mall stores; (3) would restrict height of new <br />improvements to that of the existing Center structures; <br />(4) would establish minimum parking ratios and allow up <br />to three-level parking structures; and (5) would <br />establish and cap the owners' obligations for further <br />traffic mitigation improvements for the 35 acres of the <br />stoneridge Regional Shopping Center located within the <br />stoneridge Mall Road oval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-R (Regional Commercial) - M <br />(Enclosed Mall) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of August 26, 1992, <br />the Planning Commission, after considering all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />city staff concerning this proposal, recommended approval <br />of the proposed negative declaration prepared for the <br />Stoneridge Regional Shopping Center Development <br />Agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission determined that the proposed <br />Development Agreement can assist the Taubman Company in <br />completing the mall and that the Development Agreement is <br />beneficial to the city. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />., <br />
