<br />EXHIBIT A <br />Reso~ution No. PC-92-59 <br />Conditions of Approval <br /> <br />Case UP-91-10 <br /> <br />1. Definition of Uses and Performance standards <br /> <br />This use permit shall allow the uses listed below to be operated <br />at the approximately 7-acre site (Assessor's Parcel Numbers 946- <br />1250-37, 946-1250-38, 946-1250-39) covered by this use permit. <br />Use of the site shall be primarily for waste transfer station <br />operations, the recycling processing and collection facilities <br />(primary uses), with ancillary uses allowed so long as they are <br />incidental to and not in conflict with the primary uses. All <br />uses shall be operated as described in the attached "Exhibit A" <br />(dated "Received November 1, 1991" and "Received June 24, <br />1992"), on file with the Planning Department, except as modified <br />by these conditions. <br /> <br />Prior to the issuance of on-site improvement permits, as <br />required herein, the applicant shall submit a revised site plan <br />for review and approval by the Planning Director which indicates <br />adequate on-site parking for employees. All employee and <br />customer parking spaces shall be located on a paved surface, <br />shall be striped, marked, etc., according to Municipal Code <br />requirements. At least one parking space for each employee on <br />the maximum shift shall be provided. <br /> <br />A. Waste transfer station, including: administrative offices; <br />parking and storage of transfer station trucks; fuel <br />station for transfer station trucks; truck-waShing <br />facilities; hauling of wastes onto and off of the site; <br />waste compaction and waste sorting operations; and other <br />operations directly related to waste transfer operations <br />(CUP). <br /> <br />1. The maximum average daily tonnage permitted to be <br />handled at the transfer station is 720, the capacity <br />of the transfer station. <br /> <br />2. In accordance with the applicant's franchise agreement <br />with the city, the applicant (City Automatic <br />Recycling, Inc.) shall file regular reports with the <br />City Manager's office indicating the average daily <br />tonnage for each month of the quarter. This report <br />shall indicate also the characterization of the <br />unsorted waste stream, and the tonnage and percentage <br />of recyclable and salvageable materials. <br />
