cash value. Land and improvements thereon shall be separately <br />assessed. Cultivated and uncultivated land of the same quality <br />and similarly situated, shall be assessed at the same value. <br />section 4._ All taxes shall be collected by the Tax Collector. <br /> <br />All taxes assessed, together with any per0entage imposed for <br />delinquency, and the cost of collection, shall constitute liens <br />upon the property assessed; every tax upon personal property shall <br />be a lien upon the real property of the owner thereof. The liens <br />provided for in this section shall attach as of the first Monday <br />in March of each year and may be enforced by a sale of the real <br />property affected and the execution and delivery of all necessary <br />certificates and deeds therefor, under such regulations as are <br />prescribed in this ordinance or by action in any court of competent <br />Jurisdiction to foreclose such liens; provided, that any property <br />sold for such taxes shall be subject to redemption within the time <br />and upon the terms provided for the redemption of property sold for <br />state taxes. <br /> <br />Section 5. It shall be the duty of the Assessor of the Town of <br />Pleasanton, between the first Monday of March and the first day of <br />August in each year, to make out a true list of all the taxable <br />property within the Town of Pleasanton. The mode of making out said <br />list and proceedings relating thereto shall be in conformity with <br />the laws now in force regulating County Assessors, except as the same <br />may be otherwise provided for by an act of the Legislature of the <br />State of California approved March 13, 1883, entitled: "An Act to <br />provide for the organization, incorporation and government of <br />municipal corporations", and acts amendstory thereto, and except <br />as otherwise provided in and by this ordinance. Said list shall <br />describe the property assessed and the value thereof, and shall <br />contain all other matters required to be stated in such list by <br /> <br /> <br />
