pursuant to the provisions of this ordinance, and before the <br /> <br /> Tax Collector shall have made a deed of the property to the Town <br /> of Pleasanton as provided by this ordinance, have the right to <br /> extend the period during which such real estate may be redeemed <br /> and to postpone the making of a deed of the property to the Town <br /> of Pleasanton, as provided by this ordinance, for additional <br /> periods of one year each, by paying to the Town Treasurer the <br /> following amounts for the following periods, respectively: <br /> <br /> (1) for extending the period of redemption for the first period <br /> <br /> of one year by paying to the Town Treasurer a sum of money equal <br /> <br />to the amount of the taxes, penalties for delinquency and costs <br />thereon for which said real estate was originally sold to the Town, <br />together with a sum equal to penalties on the aggregate amount of <br />said taxes at the rate of one per cent per month; (2) for extending <br />the period of redemption for each additional year thereafter, by <br />paying to the Town Treasurer a sum of money equal to the taxes, <br />penalties for delinquency, and costs thereon for each of the <br />second, third, fourth and/or fifth year of delinquency, respectively <br />and consecutively, together with a sum equal to the penalties on the <br />unpaid amount of said taxes at the rate of one per cent per month, <br />provided, however, that if any of the payments as hereinabove in <br />subdivisions (ll and (2) of this section provided, shall be made <br />on or after the first day of July of any year, and the Town of <br />Pleasanton taxes on said property for the fiscal year next preceding <br />such payment have not theretofore been paid, then such person must <br />contemporaneously with the payments hereinabove provided, also pay <br />the said Town of Pleasant on taxes on said property for the fiscal <br />year next preceding such payment, together with penalties and costs <br />due thereon. <br /> <br /> <br />
