manner, reckoning from the first day of July of the year when the <br /> property would have been sold for the taxes of that year if there <br /> had been no previous sale. <br /> <br /> The Town Clerk shall on the application of the person <br /> <br />desiring to redeem, make an estimate of the amount to be paid, <br />and shall give his triplicate certificates of the amount, specify- <br />ing the several amounts thereof, w?jich certificates the redemptionor <br />shall deliver to the Town Treasurer together with the money, and <br />the Town Treasurer shall issue triplicate receipts written or endorsed <br />upon said certificates, one of which he shall deliver to the Town <br />Clerk and one of which he shall deliver to the redemptionor, who <br />may record t~hs same in the office of the County Recorder, and one <br />of which he shall retain. Upon tender of the fee for ackno~&edgment, <br />the Treasurer shall acknowledge said receipt, so as to entitle the <br />same to be recorded, upon the payment .of the money specified in said <br />certificates, and then giving of either of the receipts by the <br />Treasurer, any deed or certificate of sale that may have been made to <br />the Town shall become null and void, and all right, title and interest <br />acquired by the Town to and by virtue of the tax sale shall cease <br />and determine. <br /> <br />Section 35. In all cases where real estate has been sold or may <br />hereafter be sold to the Town of Pleasanton for delinquent taxes, <br />pursuant to the provisions of this ordinance, and where the person <br />v.~hose estate has been or may hereafter be sold, his heirs, <br />executors, administrators or other successors in interest shall <br />contemporaneously or prior to the payments hereinafter provided, <br />also pay the current Town of Pleasemton taxes due on said property <br />for the fiscal year during which such payments shall be made, such <br />person, his heirs, legal representatives or other successors in <br />interest shall at any time after the same has been sold to the Town <br /> <br /> <br />
