Grading near heritage trees to remain shall conform with <br />City Ordinance requirements and Mitigation Measure 6-4, <br />including special construction methods within the tree <br />drip line, restrictions on grading and compaction near <br />the base of trees, and other related requirements. <br /> <br />E. Revisions to the grading plan as needed to provide <br />berming as described in Mitigation Measure 5.4. <br /> <br />5-4: Sound Wall Plan <br /> <br />The sound walls for the project should be designed in keeping <br />with the standards of the Scenic Highway Plan for 1-680. The <br />design of the soundwalls shall feature a bouquet canyon trim <br />cap (2 feet in height) to match the existing soundwal1s just <br />north of the site along the east side of Sunol Boulevard. <br />Specific design details shall be reviewed and approved by the <br />Design Review Board prior to Final Map approval. <br /> <br />5-5: Liaht and Glare Control <br /> <br />Dense plantings and fencing or walls should be provided along <br />the east property line as needed to assure that residences are <br />not subjected to light and glare impacts. Plantings along the <br />east property line shall be selected and designated on the <br />landscape plan, to minimize light and glare impacts while <br />allowing views of Pleasanton Ridge. The landscape plan shall <br />include maintenance provisions to assure that plantings would <br />not ultimately block desirable views. <br /> <br />5-6: Barrier Alona East prooertv Line <br /> <br />Prior to building permit issuance, the developer shall contact <br />all property owners along the eastern property line to <br />determine whether or not a unified fencing plan is desired. <br />The developer shall inform the Planning Director of the <br />results of this contact. Common property line fencing shall <br />be installed for those property owners wishing said fencing. <br />The design of the fencing shall be approved by the Design <br />Review Board. <br /> <br />6. VEGETATION AND WILDLIFE <br /> <br />6-1: Reolacement to Minimize Loss of Rioarian Habitat <br /> <br />Prior to tentative map approval, the California Department of <br />Fish shall approve the proposed improvements to the riparian <br />corridors.
