No public safety issues are created by the <br />proposed PUD modification. <br /> <br />s. The proposed modification conforms to the purposes <br />of the PUD District: <br /> <br />The proposed modification implements the purposes <br />of the PUD Ordinance by providing the means by <br />which the five existing split-pad lots can be <br />developed with housing in conformance with their <br />split-pad configuration, and by creating five one- <br />story houses to minimize impacts on the <br />surrounding area. Additionally, the five homes <br />facilitated by this modification would increase <br />the variety of housing opportunities in the area. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the <br />modification to the PUD is appropriate. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-90-18-1M, the <br />application of panCal Development Company for a major <br />modification to the approved development plan for the <br />Bonde Ranch subdivision to change the minimum required <br />building separation from 20 feet to 15 feet for the <br />five vacant lots located between East Angela Street and <br />the souths ide of the parking area for St. Augustine's <br />Church, subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "B," <br />attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br /> <br />Section 2.
