Portable toilets used during construction shall be kept <br />as far as possible from existing residences and shall be <br />emptied on a regular basis as necessary to prevent odor. <br /> <br />b. All site improvement activities shall be limited to the <br />hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. <br />All construction equipment must meet California <br />Department of Motor Vehicle noise standards and shall be <br />equipped with muffling devices. <br /> <br />c. At no time shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any <br />other vehicle be used as living or sleeping quarters on <br />the construction site. All such vehicles shall be <br />removed from the site at the end of each work day. <br /> <br />18. Engineering Requirements: <br /> <br />a. All utilities required to serve the storage lot shall be <br />installed underground. <br /> <br />b. The paving sections for the on-site parking and drive <br />areas shall be designed on the basis of an R-Value test <br />and a traffic index to carry the anticipated traffic <br />loads. This design shall be subject to the approval of <br />the Director of Building Inspection. The minimum paving <br />section shall be two inches (2") of asphalt concrete on <br />a six inch (6") asphalt base. The minimum asphalt <br />concrete pavement slope shall be one percent (1%). For <br />pavement slopes of less than one percent (1%), the <br />surface runoff shall be carried in a concrete gutter to <br />an acceptable point of discharge. The minimum slope for <br />concrete gutter shall be 0.5%. <br /> <br />c. The developer shall install street frontage improvements <br />per Chapter 19.40.010 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code <br />and to the satisfaction of the city Engineer. These <br />improvements shall include, but are not necessarily <br />limited to, curb and gutter, sidewalk, paving, and street <br />lighting. <br /> <br />d. The applicant shall submit a final grading and drainage <br />plan prepared by a licensed civil engineer depicting all <br />final grades and on-site drainage control measures. This <br />plan shall be subject to the review and approval of the <br />city Engineer and/or the Director of Building Inspection <br />prior to the issuance of anyon-site permits. <br />
