No construction materials shall be stored within the <br />public right-of-way. <br /> <br />d. Portable toilets used during construction shall be kept <br />as far as possible from existing residences and shall be <br />emptied on a regular basis as necessary to prevent odor. <br /> <br />e. Dust and mud shall be contained within the boundaries of <br />the property during times of construction. <br /> <br />19. Fire Protection: <br /> <br />a. The developer shall ensure that fire protection <br />facilities, including all surface roads, fire hydrants, <br />and a water supply capable of furnishing the required <br />fire flow shall be installed and serviceable prior to and <br />during the time of construction. When alternate methods <br />of protection are as approved by the Fire Chief, this <br />requirement may be waived or modified. Proposed <br />alternative methods of fire protection shall be <br />submitted, in writing, to the Fire Chief. Work on the <br />alternative fire protection methods shall not start <br />without the approval of the Fire Chief. <br /> <br />b. All houses shall be designed and constructed to meet the <br />fire and security requirements in Chapters 20.24 and <br />20.36 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br /> <br />c. The construction site shall be kept free of fire hazards <br />from the start of construction to final inspection. <br /> <br />20. The developer shall comply with the City's urban clean water <br />run-off requirements by providing an erosion control/storm <br />water quality measures on the final grading plan which shall <br />specifically address measures to prevent soil, dirt, and <br />debris from entering the storm drain system. Such measures <br />may include, but are not limited to, hydroseeding, hay bales, <br />sandbags, and siltation fences and are subject to the review <br />and approval of the City Engineer/Director of Building <br />Inspection. If no grading plan is required, necessary erosion <br />control/storm water quality measures shall be shown on the <br />site plan submitted for an on-site permit, subject to the <br />review and approval of the Director of Building Inspection. <br />The developer is responsible for ensuring that the contractor <br />is aware of and implements such measures. <br />
