<br />b. If archeological materials are uncovered during grading, trenching, or other on- <br />site excavation, all work on site shall be stopped and the City immediately <br />notified. The county coroner and the Native American Heritage Commission <br />shall also be notified and procedures followed as required in Appendix "K" of <br />the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). A similar note shall appear <br />on the improvement plans. <br /> <br />c. Portable toilets used during construction shall be emptied on a regular basis as <br />necessary to prevent odor. <br /> <br />d. All construction equipment shall meet California Department of Motor Vehicles <br />(DMV) noise standards at all times, and shall be equipped with muffling devices. <br /> <br />e. Dust and mud shall be contained within the boundaries of the property during <br />times of construction. <br /> <br />f. No construction materials shall be stored within the public right-of-way. <br /> <br />g. Any damage to existing street improvements during construction on the subject <br />property shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at full expense <br />to the developer. Said repairs may include, but not be limited to the following: <br />slurry seal, overlay, street reconstruction, etc., as deemed to be warranted by the <br />City Engineer, <br /> <br />19. Best Management Practice Program: <br /> <br />a. The developer shall submit a construction Best Management Practice (BMP) <br />program for review and approval by the Planning Director prior to issuance of <br />any building and/or grading permits. These BMP's shall be implemented by the <br />general contractor and all subcontractors and suppliers of materials and equip- <br />ment. Construction site cleanup and control of construction debris shall also be <br />addressed in this program. Failure to comply with the approved construction <br />BMP may result in the issuance of correction notices, citations, or a project stop <br />work order. <br /> <br />b. The developer is responsible for implementing the following measures during all <br />construction phases of the subject project: <br /> <br />i. Gather all construction debris on a regular basis and place them in a <br />dumpster or other container which is emptied or removed on a weekly <br />basis.
