Resolution No. PC-95-36
Page ~3

38. The developer shall comply with the City's non-point storm
drain run-off ordinance. Plans submitted for issuance of
building permits shall address the following "best management
practices" to preclude pollutants from entering the storm
water system, which shall be subject to the approval of the
City Engineer prior to the issuance of permits:

a. Sidewalks and the parking lot shall be swept regularly to
prevent the accumulation of litter and debris. If pressure
washed, debris must be trapped and collected to prevent entry
into the storm drain system. No cleaning agent may be
discharged to the storm drain.

b. Construction site clean-up and control of construction
debris shall be addressed ~n the plan. Measures to be
followed include gathering construction debris and placing it
in a dumpster or container on a regular basis, creating a
contained and covered area on the site for the storage of
materials such as cement and paint which have the potential
for being discharged into the storm drain system by wind or
spillage, and ensuring that cement trucks, painters, or
stucco/ plaster finishing contractors do not discharge wash
water from equipment, tools or rinse containers into street
gutters or drains. Street storm drain inlets shall be
protected from contaminated run-off during construction as
required by the City Engineer.

{end}
