The homes covered by these guidelines are to be constructed to encourage tele- <br /> commuting by providing, as an option, telecommunications infrastructure consis- <br /> tent with state-of-the-art methods, e.g., cabling for DSL service, wiring for total <br /> room access, etc., in effect at the time that building permit(s) are issued. The <br /> building developer shall submit with the building permit application those meas- <br /> ures included in the home construction for review and approval by the Planning <br /> Director before issuance of the building permit. <br /> <br /> 11. Only natural gas burning fireplaces or USEPA-approved wood/pellet burning <br /> stoves shall be permitted in the proposed houses. <br /> <br /> K. Review by the City of Pleasanton <br /> <br /> 1. Design review approval by the City of Pleasanton in accordance with the R-1- <br /> 20,000 process is required. <br /> <br /> 2. Developers/Builders/Homeowners are strongly encouraged to contact the City of <br /> Pleasanton Planning Department early on in the design process for guidance. The <br /> submittal of a preliminary review application is recommended. <br /> <br /> 3. The design review application shall include, but is not limited to a site plan, grad- <br /> ing plan, landscape plan, architectural elevations, entry pilasters, entry lighting, <br /> and a color and materials board. <br /> <br /> 4.
