H. Colors <br /> <br /> 1. Exterior color schemes shall avoid bright primary and contrasting colors. Colors <br /> should be darker earth tones and blend with thc natural landscape. <br /> <br /> 2. Structure colors should be compatible with, but should not duplicate color <br /> schemes on adjacent homes. <br /> <br /> I. Pool/Spa <br /> <br /> 1. Pool/Spa construction standards shall conform to the standards of the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> 2. All pool/spa equipment shall be screened fi.om the view of adjacent property and <br /> public view. All pool/spa equipment shall be located in such a mariner so as to <br /> minimize noise impact too adjacent or nearby properties. Minimum side yard <br /> setback shall be five feet and the minimum rear yard setback shall be 10 feet. <br /> Pools and spas located adjacent to the golf course with a slide and/or diving board <br /> shall be set back a minimum of 15 feet and the slide and/or diving board shall be <br /> located to prevent visual impacts to the golf course. <br /> <br /> J. Miscellaneous <br /> <br /> 1. Signs on residential lots are restricted to those typically used to advertise the sale <br /> or lease of a house in the R-1 zoning district. <br /> <br /> 2. Solar panels should be designed as an integral element of the building and should <br /> not be visible from adjacent properties or adjacent rights-of-way. <br /> <br /> 3. All antennas and satellite dishes shall be installed in accordance with the R-1 zon- <br /> ing district standards. <br /> <br /> 4. Air conditioning equipment, water softeners, trash containers, composite bins, etc. <br /> shall be screened from the view of the adjacent property and the street and shall <br /> be located at least five feet fi.om a side property line and 10 feet from the rear <br /> property line. <br /> <br /> 5. The storage of recreational vehicles, boats, and golf carts is required to be located <br /> completely enclosed within a non-required garage space of the primary structure. <br /> <br /> 6. All mailboxes shall be integrated into entry pilasters and shall include street num- <br /> bers. Identity plagues are encouraged. <br /> <br /> 7. The building developer shall submit a waste generation disposal and diversion <br /> plan to the Building Department prior to issuance of building permits. The plan <br /> shall include the estimated composition and quantities of waste to be generated <br /> and how the building developer shall recycle at least 50% of the job site construc- <br /> tion and demolition waste.
