BUDGET <br /> <br />Project funding was from the CIP Project Number 045054 - Installation of New Traffic <br />Signals at Various Locations. This funding was not available until July 1, 2004. Staff <br />transferred $215,000.00 from CIP 025015 (the Sunol Boulevard at 1-680 Southbound Off <br />Ramp Traffic Signal Project not scheduled for construction this year) into CIP 045054 to fund <br />this construction project. The $215,000.00 was returned to CIP 025015 on July 1, 2004. The <br />expenditures are presented below. <br /> <br /> FUNDING CIP 045054 $300,000 <br /> Traffic Operations - 16,595' <br /> EXPENDITURES: <br /> Engineering $ 16,595.00' <br /> Advance hardware purchase $ 77,128.04 <br /> Construction cost $ 177,352.75 <br /> Construction change order $ 10,240.00 <br /> WlFI communications $ 26,702.48 <br /> PG&E Service $ 1,703.86 <br /> Geotechnical Services $ 1,950.00 <br /> <br /> TOTAL $ 311,672.13 <br /> *(Funded from Professional Services Account in October 2003) <br /> <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br /> <br />This project will result in an increase to our monthly electrical cost by $150 per month and the <br />maintenance of the signal will be incorporated into our existing signal maintenance agreement <br />for an additional $169.00 per month.
