<br />EXHIBIT B <br /> <br />PROPOSED DRAFT ORDINANCE <br />CASE RZ-94-06 <br />(April 26, 1995) <br /> <br />(Proposed language is indicated in italics.) <br /> <br />18.96.090. <br /> <br />Temporary subdivision signs. <br /> <br />A. (no change) <br /> <br />B. (no change) <br /> <br />C. The Zoning Administrator may authorize one (I) on-site advertising sign and two (2) <br />off-site directional signs, where warranted, after a final subdivision map has been recorded <br />for the project. In cases where a residential subdivision is under the same ownership but <br />consists of different housing product types, the Zoning Administrator may authorize one (1) <br />on-site advenising sign and two (2) off-site directional signs, where warranted, per product <br />type, after a final subdivision map has been recorded for the housing product type for which <br />said signs are desired. For the purposes of this Section, a product type shall mean housing <br />units which are clearly distinguishable in terms of one or more of the following <br />characteristics: lot size; attached vs. detached units; single-family vs. multi-family units; <br />production homes vs. custom homes; or as otherwise determined by the Zoning <br />Administrator. All signs shall be subject to all of the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The signs may be either single-faced, double-faced, or V-shaped, providing the <br />angle between the two (2) faces shall not exceed sixty degrees (60 degrees); <br /> <br />2. On-site advertising si!!n. The horizontal dimension of an on-site advertising <br />sign face shall not exceed twelve feet (12') and the total sign area shall not exceed <br />one hundred (100) square feet with a total height of not more than fourteen feet (14') <br />from ground level. <br /> <br />3. Individual off-site directional si!!ns. An individual off-site directional sign <br />shall provide direction to only one subdivision or one product type within a <br />subdivision. The horizontal dimension of an individual off-site directional sign shall <br />not exceed eight feet (8 ') and the total sign area of a single sign face shall not exceed <br />forty (40) square feet with a total height of not more than ten feet (10') from ground <br />level, except as required in paragraph 5., below. <br /> <br />RZ-94-06 <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br />Draft Ordinance <br />
