<br />APPROVED <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, November 29, 1995 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The Planning Commission meeting of November 29, 1995, was called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />by Chairman Lutz. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> <br />1. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: <br /> <br />Commissioners Debra Barker, Jack Dove, Jack Hovingh, Hal <br />McGuirk, and Chairman Harry Lutz <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner Bob Wright <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br /> <br />Jerry Iserson, Principal Planner; Marion Pavan, Associate <br />Planner; Roger Higdon, Assistant Director of Public Works; <br />Dennis Beougher, Assistant City Attorney and Terri Czapinski, <br />Recording Secretary <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The Minutes of the November 8, 1995, meeting were accepted as written with the following <br />modifications requested by Commissioner Barker: <br /> <br />Page 15, 3rd paragraph, 2nd sentence: She feels the houses on Diamond Court <br />dominate the character of the neighborhood, and there is no use pretending Sycamore Road is <br />rural when Diamond Court is 100 feet away. The rural character has already been destroyed <br />by the cluster homes a few hundred feet down the road. <br /> <br />Page 17, last paragraph: Add: Commissioner Barker feels betrayed by the lack of a <br />park in the Business Park because the park was the primary mitigating factor for residential <br />development in the Business Park. <br /> <br />A memorandum was submitted to the Commission noting Ms. Cassens clarifications to <br />comments she made at the November 8, 1995, meeting regarding CASE AP-95-12, as per <br />her request. <br />
