(Stanlev Seniors) <br />Application for 1) a General Plan Amendment to redesignate five parcels of <br />approximately 2.88 acres from medium density residential to high density residential, <br />and 2) for Planned Unit Development rezoning from R-I-20,000 to PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - HDR (High Density Residential) District and development plan approval <br />for a 98-unit, two-story apartment complex for reduced-income senior citizens located at <br />4023-4073 Stanley Boulevard. Zoning for the property is R-I-20,OOO District. <br />The Planning Commission will also consider the Negative Declaration prepared for the <br />project. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson presented the staff report for the application to amend the General Plan Land <br />Use designation from Medium Density Residential to High Density Residential on an <br />approximately 2.88 acre site located at 4023 - 4073 Stanley Boulevard. Also to be <br />considered by the Commission is a PUD rezoning and development plan approval to <br />construct a 97-unit, two-story apartment complex for reduced-income senior citizens. <br /> <br />This area was not addressed by the General Plan Steering Committee nor the Housing Sub- <br />committee. This area has an "old town" flavor but is not included in the Downtown <br />Residential Specific Plan. <br /> <br />Staff has determined that the additional 110 vehicle trips per day generated by the proposed <br />project would be accommodated on "little" Stanley Boulevard without negatively impacting <br /> <br />Planning Commission Minutes <br /> <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />October 25, 1995 <br />
