<br />Commissioner Hovingh requested a month to evaluate the document, position papers and <br />minority reports and continue this item to August 9th. Commissioner McGuirk also noted <br />that he would like additional time to evaluate the document. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hovingh asked staff to gather statistical data comparing the housing prices <br />against the wages paid in Pleasanton to determine if there is an imbalance between the wages <br />paid and the type of housing being built. He would also like to determine if enough density <br />has been set to reach the goal of 15% affordable housing goal. <br /> <br />It was agreed by the Commissioners to continue this item to August 9, 1995, allowing time <br />for the Commissioners to review and evaluate the final recommendations and associated <br />reports, and to prepare written comments. <br /> <br />e. PUD-95-03. Lvnden Homes <br />Application for Planned Unit Development rezoning to rezone a 1.01 acre site (1635 <br />Rose Avenue) from the Agricultural zoning district to the PUD - Medium Density <br />Residential District and development plan approval for a thirteen nnit single-family <br />residential development on two parcels totalling 4.30 acres of land located at 1635 and <br />1777 Rose Avenue. Zoning for the property is PUD (planned Unit Development) - MDR <br />(Medium Density Residential) and Agriculture District. The Planning Commission will <br />also consider the Negative Declaration prepared for the project. <br />Continued to July 26, 1995. <br /> <br />f. Prezoninl! RZ-94-07 and Annexation. Citv of Pleasanton <br />Prezoning of the San Francisco Water Department Bernal Avenue property and a <br />portion of the Alameda County Transportation Corridor to the following Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) designations: PUD -Parks and Recreation/Public Health and <br />Safety/Medium Density Residential/High Density Residential/Public and Institutional <br />(future school)/Retail, Highway, and Service Commercial, Business and Professional <br />Offices/Public and Institutional/Transportation Corridor; and 2) annexation of this land <br />along with the adjacent 27 acre Pleasanton Middle School site owned by the Pleasanton <br />Unified School District. The 560 acre, triangular-shaped site is bounded by the Arroyo <br />de la Laguna to the west, Bernal A venue to the north, and the Alameda County <br />Transportation Corridor to the southeast. The Planning Commission will also consider <br />the Draft EIR prepared for this project. <br />Continued to July 26, 1995. <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Dove felt it would be appropriate to send a letter of commendation to the <br />Rose Pavilion because the Center is always so well maintained.
