ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: <br /> <br />Commissioners Jack Dove, Jack Hovingh, Harry Lutz, Debra <br />Barker and Chairman Bob Wright <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner Harold McGuirk <br /> <br />r- <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br /> <br />Brian Swift, Director of Planning; Dennis Beougher, Assistant <br />City Attorney; Roger Higdon, Assistant Director of Public <br />Works; Jerry Iserson, Principal Planner; and Terri Czapinski, <br />Recording Secretary <br /> <br />~ APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The March 8, 1995, Minutes were approved as written with the following modification: <br />. Page 5, last sentence, change "boxcar" to "ship-lap." <br /> <br />l.. MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY <br />ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Ronald Chan, 742 Lemos Lane, Fremont, owner of the Lai Lai Restaurant, spoke about the <br />Office Max project in the Best Shopping Center. He understood that the construction would <br />not start until he had written agreements between he and the Office Max project <br />representatives. Because of the construction fences, etc., his customers believe he is closed, <br />and he has noticed a drop in his daily gross revenue. <br /> <br />,.- <br /> <br />He is also concerned about the safety of his customers, employees, and himself due to the <br />lack of parking lot lighting. He has addressed his concerns to all persons involved in the <br />project. He has seen no progress to date; however, he will continue to act in good faith. <br />
