Any premi~n for such bond shall be a proper charge against the Cit of Pleasantono Section 5o TEMPORARY CITY~DMiNISTRATiVE OFFICE: The City Ad~ninistrative Officer shall appoint, subject to the approval of the City Council, one of the officers or department heads of the City to serve as City Administrative Officer pro-tempore d~ring any temporary absence or disability of the City Administrative Officer. In case of the absence or disability of the City Administrative Officer and his failure to so appoint a City A~inistrative Officer pro te~pore, the City Council ~ay designate so~e qualified city employee to perfor~ the duties of the City Administrative Officer during the period of absence or disability of said City ~d~inistrative Officer, subject, however, ~o said person furnishing a corporate surety ~ond conditioned upon faith- ful performance of t~e duties required to be performed as set forth in Section ~ hereof° Section do CO~PENS~TION: The City ~d~inistrative Officer shall receive such compensation and ezpense allowance as the City Council shall from time to t~ne determine and fi~ by resolution, and said compensation and e~pense shall be a charge against such funds of ~he City as the City Council shall designate.
