Resolution No. GHAD 04-010 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council held the public heating on the petition as scheduled. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: This resolution is made pursuant to Division 17 (§26500 et seq.) of the Public <br /> Resources Code. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Board of Directors has been presented with and has reviewed the plan of <br /> control submitted with the petition for the proposed annexation to the Laurel <br /> Creek Estates GHAD and has determined that the public health, safety and welfare <br /> require annexation of the territory to the GHAD. <br /> <br />Section 3: A public hearing was held on the filed petition on July 20, 2004, at 6:55 p.m., in <br /> the Pleasanton City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bemal Avenue, Pleasanton, <br /> California. <br /> <br />Section 4: The Board of Directors considered the petition, plan of control, and public <br /> comments, and now approves the annexation as set forth in the petition. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />SITTING AS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE LAUREL CREEK ESTATES <br />GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT, AT A MEETING HELD ON JULY 20, <br />2004 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Boardmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Hosterman, and Chairperson Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Boardmember Campbell <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> '~G.
