The size of the dry-sump <br />shall be determined by the City Engineer and Fire Marshall in conjunction with the <br />building permit review and shall be shown on the building permit plan set to the <br />satisfaction of the Planning Director, City Engineer, and Fire Marshall before issuance of <br />a building permit. All drainage outside of the canopy area shall drain away from the fuel <br />dispensing area. <br /> <br />66. There shall be irrigated and turfed bioswales located along the south and east sides of the <br />site facing Utah Street and Bernal Avenue frontages and, iffeasible, along the west side <br />ofthe site between the convenience marketlcarwash building and the north/south <br />interblock driveway. There shall be breaks in the curb separating the paved surfaces <br />from the bioswales located a far as possible from the storm drain inlets in the bioswales <br />to maximize the length of travel across the swale. The drive isle around the fueling <br />canopy, the parking lots in front of the building and the parking lot and drive isle on the <br />south side of the building shall drain into the bioswale unless otherwise approved by the <br />City Engineer. All other storm water from the convenience store/car wash roofs, and <br />other paved impervious surfaces shall drain to a mechanical storm water treatment devise <br />acceptable to the City Engineer. This detail shall be shown on the building permit plan <br />set to the satisfaction of the Planning Director and the City Engineer before issuance of a <br />building permit <br /> <br />67. The service station owner/operator shall dry sweep the fuel dispensing area routinely, and <br />shall inspect or have inspected regularly the dispensing equipment for proper function <br />and leak prevention. The service station owner/operator shall have a spill clean-up plan <br />approved by the Fire Department and in place before issuance of an occupancy permit. <br /> <br />68. The site area outside of the canopy area shall be designed to drain away from the fuel <br />dispensing area. This detail shall be shown on the building permit plan set to the <br />satisfaction of the Planning Director and the City Engineer before issuance of a building <br />permit. <br /> <br />69. The trash enclosure area shall be completely covered. An area drain shall be installed in <br />the enclosure area, which connects to the sanitary sewer. A structural control such as an <br />oil/water separator or sand filter shall be provided. No other area shall drain into the <br />trash enclosure; a berm shall be installed to prevent such drainage if found necessary by <br />the City Engineer/Director of Building Inspection. A sign shall be posted prohibiting the <br />dumping of hazardous materials into the sanitary sewer. The project developer shall <br />notify the Dublin-San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) upon installation ofthe sanitary <br />connection; a copy of this notification shall be provided to the Planning Department. <br /> <br />70. The service station owner/operator shall sweep or vacuum the parking lot and sidewalks a <br />minimum of once a month and shall prevent the accumulation of litter and debris on the <br />site. Corners and hard to reach areas shall be swept manually. If sidewalks and/or the <br />parking lot are pressure washed, debris must be trapped and collected to prevent entry <br />into the storm drain system. No cleaning agent may be discharged into the storm drain. <br />If any cleaning agent or degreaser is used, wash water must be collected and discharged <br />to the sanitary sewer, subject to approval of the Dublin-San Ramon Services District <br />(DSRSD). <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />II <br />
