Side yards and rear yards in the residential zone shall <br /> be not less than five (5) feet in depth. Front yards <br /> in the residential zone shall not be less than fifteen <br /> (15) feet in depth measured at right angles from the <br /> street lines to the closest portion of any building or <br /> structure; provided however that front yards in areas <br /> in the residential zone subdivided from land annexed <br /> to the City after the adoption of this Ordinance No. <br /> 260 shall be not less than twenty (20) feet in depth <br /> measured at right angles from the street lines to the <br /> closest portion of any building or structure. <br /> <br /> Lot areas in the residential zone shall be so dimen- <br /> stoned as to contain not less than five thousand (5,000) <br /> square feet for each principal building thereon, except that <br /> lot areas in the residential zone subdivided from land <br /> annexed to the City after the adoption of this Ordinance <br /> No. 260 shall contain not less than_ six thousand (6,000) e <br /> square feet for each principal building thereon. <br /> Lot area~n~nf~hg~tr~r~sntisl zone in any new subdivision in t~ <br />n°~c~.~ ~t~vherein a tract map is filed pursuant to the Subdivision <br /> Nap Act, sections ll,500 et. seq., Business & Professions <br /> Code, State of California, and. approved by the City Council, <br /> shall be so dimensioned as to contain not less than six <br /> thousand (6,000) square feet for each principal building <br /> thereon nd not less than tweDty (2~) feet in depth from <br /> the street, to the closest portion of any bui]_d]r~,g. <br /> Section 2. Section 11.6 is hereby added to Ordinance No. <br /> <br /> 228, to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 11.6. All territory and area hereafter annexed <br /> to the City of Pleassnton shall be designated by a zone <br /> pursuant to Zoning Ordinance No. 228 at the time of annex- <br /> ation thereof.
