Section 4 of Ordinance No. 228 is hereby amended <br />to read ss follows: <br /> <br /> Section 4- In the residential zone, buildings, structures <br /> or premises thereon shall not be used for purpose or pur- <br /> poses except (a) single and multiple family dwellings, bun- <br /> galow courts, flats, apartment houses, boarding houses, <br /> mortuaries, public buildings, churches, schools, public <br /> playgrounds and parks, the office of a member of a recog- <br /> nized profession which is licensed and regulated by state <br /> law, who is living on the premises, customary home occu- <br /> pations hereby limited to dressmaking, sewing, millinery, <br /> hairdressing, m.anicuring~._~, laundry. preserving and home <br /> cooking, provided that such home occupations shall be con- <br /> ducted solely by home occupants in the main building on <br /> the premises, and not more than one half the area of one <br /> floor shall be used for such purpose, and that no display of <br /> products shall be visible from the street. ~lot more than <br /> one sign shall be permitted oD. any one lot in the residen- <br /> tial zone. <br /> <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
