IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASA~'TON <br /> County of Alameda, State of California <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. ..<. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance of the City of Pleasanton <br /> Calling a Special Election to be Held on the <br /> 13th day of December, 1955, Pertaining to <br /> the Annexation of "ADAMS COURT" To the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2496, the City Council of <br />the City of Pleasanton declared its intention to call a special <br />election to be held on the 13th day of December, 1955, in <br />certain inhabited territory contiguous to said city proposed to <br />be annexed to the city, for the purpose of submitting to the <br />qualified electors residing in said territory the question <br />whether or not the territory shall be annexed to the city: and <br /> <br /> W.~{EREAS, a copy of said resolution was published as <br />required by law; and <br /> <br /> I{HEREAS, at a time not later than the hour set by said <br />resolution for hearing objections to the proposed election, <br />written or oral protests were not made by the owners of a <br />majority of separate parcels of property within the territory <br />proposed to be annexed; and <br /> <br /> ~{!4EREAS, all proceedings have been had in accordance <br />~.~ith said resolution and the Annexation Act of 1913, reference <br />thereto hereby being made for further particulars; <br /> <br /> N0~, TH~]REFORE, the People of the City of Pleasanton <br />ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> 1.
