.- Cineulaz Wireless/ Wireless Communication Facilities <br />Commissioner Fox inquired about the Cingulaz Wireless extension and noted that many <br />residents near McKinley Park were told that it would be removed by 2003. She noted <br />that it had become a problem for them. <br />Ms. Kline noted that it was under a lease and added that it would replace and improve an <br />existing situation. <br />Commissioner Fox noted that there were multiple poles around Zone 7 stations and <br />inquired whether they were cell phone towers. <br />Ms. Kline advised that they were communication antennas for the actual facility for <br />on-site monitoring. <br />Letter Reeardin¢ AB 2702• Second lJnits/Housine on School Sites <br />Chairperson Roberts thanked Ms. Nerland for forwarding to Governor Schwarzenegger <br />the Commission's letter of opposition to Assembly Bi112702 regarding second <br />units housing on school sites. The Governor vetoed the bill. Chairperson Roberts noted <br />that an e-mail was circulated indicating that the Governor's staff was wavering.
