REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Iserson stated that Item 6.e., Consideration of Chances to the Approved Bernal <br />Avenue Bridge by Foothill Road, is a continued item from the last meeting and that it <br />was inadvertently placed at the end of the Public Hearing items. He added that it was <br />normal policy to put continued items at the top of the agenda and requested that this item <br />-' be considered after Item 6.a., PCUP-61, Bernal Partners. LLC/City of Pleasanton, which <br />was also continued from the last meeting. <br />5. MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />There were none. <br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br />a. PCUP-61, Bernal Partners, LLC/City of Pleasanton <br />Review and consideration of possible modification to an approved <br />conditional use permit for aself-service gasoline station with a convenience <br />market, quick-service restaurant, and carwash to consider hours of <br />operation, operation of the drive-through carwash, noise, perimeter fencing, <br />and other issues. The subject property is located at 1875 Valley Avenue <br />(southeast corner of Bernal Avenue and Valley Avenue) and is zoned PUD - <br />C-O (Planned Unit Development -Commercial-Office) District. <br />Mr. Iserson presented the staff report and gave a brief summazy of the background and <br />the concerns and issues raised by the neighbors concerning the operation of the facility, <br />including: (1) noise during sensitive hours resulting from the 24-hour operation of the <br />service station and convenience store, the carwash operation, and the Jack-in-the-Box <br />_ drive-through speaker -noise at night, the oil recovery truck and garbage collection; <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES July 28, 2004 Page 2 of 19 <br />
