_ Commissioner Maas moved to recommend to City Council that the letter be sent to <br />the County if a plan to resolve the issues that have been brought forth at this <br />meeting were not resolved within 30 days. <br />Commissioner Kameny seconded the motion. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Kameny and Maas. <br />NOES: Commissioners Fox and Sullivan. <br />ABSTAIN: Commissioner Roberts. <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Arkin. <br />The motion did not carry. <br />Commissioner Sullivan moved to recommend to City Council that the letter be sent <br />as written and that the City contact the Bay Area Air Quality Management District <br />to inquire about the validity of the existing permit and whether it should remain in <br />force. <br />Commissioner Fox seconded the motion. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Fox and Sullivan. <br />NOES: Commissioners Kameny and Maas. <br />ABSTAIN: Commissioner Roberts. <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Arkin. <br />The motion did not carry. <br />Commissioner Fox moved to recommend to City Council that individual <br />Commissioners interested in sending the letter work with staff to prepare individual <br />Planning Commission letters to be sent to the Alameda County Planning <br />Commission. <br />There was no second to the motion. <br />After Commission discussion, Commissioner Sullivan moved to recommend that if <br />the City Council acts by sending the letter, the item not be returned to the <br />Commission.
