She noted that the staff met with the development community on
the residential ordinance and would schedule meetings with the Chamber of Commerce,
Housing Commission, Economic Vitality Committee, the Energy Committee, and the
Planning Commission.
Commissioner Sullivan believed that the Planning Commission should discuss it first.
Chairperson Roberts requested that a staff report not be generated for the initial
discussion.
Commissioner Arkin expressed concern about the heavy schedule as the General Plan
Update discussions continued.
General Plan Undate Meeting Schedule
A discussion ensued about the General Plan Update meeting schedule and whether those
meetings could be televised.
Chairperson Roberts noted that the meetings were scheduled so aggressively so the work
could be accomplished before Mr. Swift retired.
Commissioner Sullivan expressed concern about conflicts with the Energy Committee
meetings and noted that there was often a lag of a month because meeting dates must be
agendized.
8.
