Future Planning Calendar
Schedule of Upcomine Plannine Commission Meetings
Chairperson Roberts advised that a memo had been received by staff that because Council was
still working on California Splash, the traffic item would be discussed with Council on April 27,
2004 instead, which was the date scheduled for discussing the Council's priorities. She advised
that the first Joint City Council-Planning Commission General Plan Update traffic workshop
would be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2004.
Commissioner Maas inquired why these meetings are being held either the night before or the
night after a Planning Commission meeting.
Chairperson Roberts noted that the availability of the Council Chambers was limited and that the
Council had many other meetings.
Commissioner Maas advised that Planning Commissioners also attend many other meetings.
Chairperson Roberts noted that she had spoken with Mr. Rasmussen and that the Planning
Commission General Plan Update workshop on the East Side would be held on Thursday,
April 22, 2004. A General Plan Update
meeting would be held on June 16 to address Hacienda, but noted that this may not be possible
because of the traffic discussions. She wished, however, to reserve that date regazdless of the
status of the traffic issue.
Ikea Proiect in Dublin
Commissioner Fox added that the Ikea approval in Dublin included tweaking the Pleasanton
lights to allow more time for left turns into Ikea.
