Rose Avenue <br />This site will not work for high-density residential because the desire is for <br />10,000-square-foot lots; Rose Avenue should not go through. <br />DSRSD Site <br />• This site would be good for high-density residential apartments because of freeway <br />access and big streets; no traffic issues. <br />• Mixed-use would be good, with a park on the property. <br />b. Schedule of Future Meetin¢s <br />Commissioner Roberts noted that the Commission would have to schedule another meeting on <br />this topic which would include the inclusionazy housing ordinance and that this would be held <br />after the Housing Commission has discussed it and made its recommendations. <br />The Commission scheduled the next General Plan Update meeting for Thursday, Apri122, 2004, <br />at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The topic to be discussed would be the "East Side." <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Maas inquired if the moratorium issue would be scheduled for a future meeting <br />and if there would be a staff report. <br />Mr. Swift replied that it would be scheduled For the regular meeting on March 24 and that staff <br />would prepaze a report for the Commission. <br />Commissioner Sullivan asked Mr. Swift if staff is getting enough feedback from the Commission <br />through the process that is being followed at the meetings. <br />Mr. Swift said yes and added that as the process moves on, staff expects that the Commission <br />would be providing directives on how to proceed. <br />8.
