THE CITY OF <br />~, ~ <br />j~L£~S~NTONm <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />GENERAL PLAN UPDATE <br />MINUTES <br />Wednesday, January 28, 2004 <br />6:15 p.m. <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br />Discussion of the General Plan Uadate <br />in Lieht of Community Meetines and Summary of Comments <br />and Schedule of Future Meetines and Workshops <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The workshop was called to order at 6:15 p.m. by Chairperson Roberts. <br />ROLL CALL <br />APPROVED <br />Staff Members Present: Wayne Rasmussen, Principal Planner; Lynn Tracy Nerland, <br />Assistant City Attorney; Wes Jost, Development Services <br />Manager, and Cory Emberson, Recording Secretary. <br />Commissioners Present: Commissioners Brian Arkin, Anne Fox, Trish Maas, Mary <br />Roberts, and Matt Sullivan. <br />Commissioners Absent: Commissioner Harvey Kameny. <br />Commissioners Sullivan and Fox were absent from roll call, but arrived during the workshop. <br />Principal Planner Wayne Rasmussen advised that the staff wished to give the Planning <br />Commission an opportunity to provide comments regarding the Community Meetings Summary <br />Report that was recently released. He stated that the Commission may wish to direct staff to <br />write a memo that would record their thoughts and be forwarded to City Council as a <br />supplemental attachment to the Report. He noted that the direction from the last City <br />Council/Planning Commission workshop regarding traffic was that they would hold at least one <br />_ more workshop on traffic.
