ORDINANCE NO. 227 Ai~ ORDINANC~ CAL!'~ING AND PROVIDING FOR A ~PECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION IN THE TOWN OF PLEASANTON AND TO S"OBMI~ TO THE UALIFIED ELECTO S RAIDING IN'THE TO~N~ OF PL~A~.sAiqTON ?hE PROPOSITIONSRASRIN THIS ORDINANCE S~T FORTH AiQD DE~IC~ATED AS PROPOSITION A AND PROPOSITION B WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Pleasanton, a municipal corporation of the sixth class, in the County of Alameda, State of California, does determine and hereby finds that before said City Council of the Town of Pleasanton concurs with, and as a pert of proceedings related to zones to be taken and had in Section l l of Chapter 1275 of the statutes and amendments to the codes Californie 1949, which act is known as md is cited as the Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservaticn District Act, that the said question of such concurrence should be submitted to the vote of the qualified electors residing in the Town of Pleasanton included in the zone mentioned, specified and referred to in said Prooosition A in this Ordinance hereinsfter set forth, and the City Council of the Town of Pleasanton also hereby finds and determines that before ordering the doing of the acts and things mentioned and specified in Proposition B, hereinafter in this Ordinance set forth, said proposition, as' stated and specified in said Proposition B, hipreinafter in this Ordinance specified and said forth, should be submitted to the qualified electors of the To~m of Plessanton. i~OW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Plessanton does ordain as fol lows: Section 1. That s special municipal election be, and is hereby ordered and called to be held in the Town of Pleasanton on Tuesday . .. , the 12t__h day Of January, 1954, st which election there will be submitted to the qualified voters of the Town of Pleasanton the Oropositions as set forth in the following propositions, to wit: -1-
