<br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Cooper, Lutz, McGuirk, and Chair Barker <br />Commissioner Wright <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC 96-95 was entered approving the draft amendment to the Stoneridge <br />Regional Shopping Center Development Agreement, as motioned. <br /> <br />Even though voting approval, Commissioner Cooper noted he had reservations regarding the traffic <br />impacts if the mall were built out to the maximum. Furthermore, Chair Barker has reservations in <br />her approval vote with the downsizing of the parking ratios. Commissioner Wright also noted that <br />he simply just does not want to see parking structures and an additional 222,000 square feet of <br />expansion. <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />There were none. <br /> <br />8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br /> <br />a. Future Plannine Calendar <br />Staff and the Commission discussed the current events regarding the neighborhood meetings <br />for the Ponderosa development. Commissioner McGuirk asked that a School District representative <br />be available for the Planning Commission meeting when the Ponderosa application is heard to answer <br />questions about school boundaries. Staples Ranch application will have to be held over until January. <br /> <br />b. Actions of the Citv Council <br />Chair Barker thought Mayor Tarver had requested staff not to process applications until <br />growth management questions were resolved. Mr. Beougher advised that staff has a legal obligation <br />to process whatever applications are submitted. Mr. Iserson expressed that he believes Mayor Tarver <br />was asking the Council members to come to grips with the growth management problems as soon <br />as possible. <br /> <br />Commissioner Cooper noted his dismay about the Council's disapproval of the Shadow Cliffs <br />overnight camping application. He thought it should have been returned to the Planning Commission <br />for further review. Commissioner Lutz also noted that Mayor Tarver was upset that the neighbors <br />would not negotiate and compromise. Commissioner Lutz feels the neighbors are being taught to <br />not compromise and to come to the meetings with a lot of opposition in order to get their way. <br /> <br />c.
