. . . The proposed project either meets or exceeds all of the Hacienda Business Park guidelines. The setback along Inglewood is a little less than the standard setback of 104 feet, however, the guidelines do provide for variation and increases in the setback at other locations to compensate. This has been achieved with this design. A total of 349 parking spaces are proposed that will surround the building. This amount exceeds the requirements. Two new driveways will be constructed to service the project. An existing driveway will also be used to service the site. Staff believes the architecture is attractive and matches the previously-built buildings. Staff feels the project, as conditioned, will meet all the Hacienda Business Park guidelines and recommends approval of this application. PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED Al Chamarro, project architect, noted that the applicants do not have any exceptions to the conditions of approval. Commissioner McGuirk inquired about the preferential parking. Me. Chamarro stated it is a requirement of Hacienda Business Park and the preferential parking is for the carpool and vanpool vans. Commissioner McGuirk inquired of staff if 5% handicapped parking is standard. Staff indicated it was and if for some reason a business/company needed more handicapped spaces, hopefully the employer would be responsive to the need. PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED Commissioner Lutz motioned, seconded by Commissioner McGuirk, approving Case PUD-81- 30-66D, subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit B.
